Ferry Tracker tool to be discontinued later this month and unavailable on website. No budget for replacement tool. Other vessel tracking tools are available online. Loading lane cameras show when ferry at or near docks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Steilacoom terminal will be closed from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily for sanitization beginning Tuesday, Dec. 1. In-person tickets at the terminal will not be available during this time. Online tickets can be purchased any time.

Effective 9/25/20, Pierce County Ferry will stop the use of plastic loading cards. Thank you for your patience as we work to apply solutions to help reduce line cutting occurrences. An alternative solution will be implemented at a later date.

New policy addresses oversize and overweight loads on Pierce County Ferry system. We may not accept oversize or overweight loads that negatively affect ferry service. Specifically, modular homes will no longer be accepted. View policy at link below.

To comply with the Governor’s order to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Pierce County Ferry will require that masks covering your nose and mouth must be worn in public spaces at the terminal and on the ferry, effective Friday, June 26.
