Pierce County has won a Silver Circle Award in the Digital Interactive – Overall Website category at the 2013 3CMA annual Savvy Awards. The national award was given to Pierce County to recognize its outstanding and innovative work in redesigning and reorganizing four of its websites including, www.piercecountywa.org. The Silver Circle Award represents second place among hundreds of counties and cities nationwide with a population of 99,000 and up.
According to the judges, the Pierce County website was easy to navigate and pleasing to look at. The use of colors, design, and graphics are impressive and help showcase the communities representing Pierce County.
